I have run Qualifirst Foods since 1993, helping Qualifirst grow from a small regional Canadian Gourmet Food company, to a National Food company that was able to buy a company in Vancouver and become a national player in the Canadian Market.
During this time my greatest challenge has been recruiting talent. I recognized that it was the talent that I recruited for Qualifirst that would grow Qualifirst, not me running the whole show.
In 2008, I embarked on a journey to find a recruiting system that would work for small and medium sized companies. I read dozens of books, attended, courses and seminars. Hired coach after coach. This was a long hard road, and many times I almost gave up. But I am very stubborn and just kept at it. I made more mistakes than I would care to admit. I tested one theory after another on how to hire. Each method I saw was a part of the puzzle but it had to be put together to work.
