21 Apr Doing versus Wishing
Qualifirst Foods has been selected as one of four finalists for the Imagine Excellence Award in the category of Best Business to Business User Experience at the Imagine Commerce 2015 conference being held in Las Vegas next week.
This is a huge honour, especially considering all the other finalists are large corporations.
This nomination is proof that our ambitious growth strategy is based on solid ground. We are not simply wishing to become the number one gourmet food site; we are doing what is needed to make it a reality. The pieces of our strategy are all coming together, and we will be ready to hit the launch button by the end of May.
In the past few months, we have been transitioning our technology very quickly and in many areas. This has had its challenges, naturally. The sales team has had to deal with a new online ordering system, a new email system and a new customer management system all at the same time. So, too, the warehouse and office team members have been familiarizing themselves with a new inventory lot tracking system that requires a change in many of our procedures.
We live in a quickly evolving world and if we don’t move fast, we will be left behind. The challenges have been numerous, but our team stepped up to take them on.
I have communicated to my team that we can all be proud of the fact that our efforts are succeeding. We have been recognized. We have become a finalist alongside some much bigger companies. This is a success unto itself, and belongs to everyone who works at Qualifirst.
Here is the exact wording of the award finalist notification:
