Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant - Part-time to Start



Are you interested in working in the Media and Advertising industry? Do you want global full-service agency exposure? For example, learning and assisting our Media Buyer and Creative Director when they are busy. The individual would start as a bookkeeper but have the opportunity to grow their career with our industry. Starts as part-time position with potential for full-time!

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Strong Quickbooks Desktop experience is required
  • Quickbooks Enterprise (job tracking) experience is a bonus
  • Experience with Ceridian payroll
  • Sound and practical knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures, principles and policies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment, as well as autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate upcoming work needs based on routine and schedule
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company
  • Comfortable working in a small, tight-knit office environment
Job Responsibilities:
  • Reporting directly to the Operations/Finance Manager
  • Manage A/P, A/R and related journal entries in QuickBooks
  • Reconciliations of multiple bank accounts and credit cards
  • Assist with Ceridian payroll and commission payments when needed
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Perform other accounting tasks as needed
  • Administrative assistance preparing letters, memos and various reports, filling
  • Willingness to tend to other administrative tasks as needed
  • Potential for full-time employment as the role grows
